Community Service - The Panichi Center for Communication and Learning

The Panichi Center for Communication and Learning
The Panichi Center for Communication and Learning was dedicated in 2007.

Construction of the Center was funded in substantial part by the Panichi Family which owns and operates Royal Carting.

The rapid influx of population in the Hudson Valley has given rise to an increasing number of preschool age children with medical conditions requiring interventions and therapy to address developmental disabilities and delays.

The Panichi Center for Communication and Learning seeks to meet that need.

The Center provides programs for children with a variety of disabilities including pervasive development disorders, attention deficit disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, speech delays, and autism.

The Center also features a satellite office for adults as well as children to treat communication disorders such as speech, hearing, and problems with swallowing.

Emil Panichi and Evelyn Constantino pose with children at the Panichi Center for Communication and Learning.

The program is accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
